The Produce for Kids Campaign is a comprehensive, turnkey promotional event for the produce department that includes advertising, point-of-sale materials, public relations and internet marketing.

The PFK campaign is fully supported by the participating sponsors making this a win, win for participating retailers.

It’s easy for retailers to participate!  PFK coordinates and manages all elements of the campaign, making it easy and beneficial for everyone!

Colorful point-of-sale materials including floor stands, tear pads/sheets featuring sponsors products and shelf talkers/cards.

Online Advertising Resource Center

Provides retailers with participating sponsor logos and product images, campaign graphics, full and half page ads as well as merchandising tips and theme ideas, making it easy for retailer’s Marketing Departments to utilize.

Online Marketing

  • Retailers and sponsors logos are featured in the Healthy Kids Club and kids earn extra points for purchasing the sponsors’ products and creating fun recipes.
  • The Produce for Kids web site features a link to retailers’ web sites, and our online recipe center featuring sponsor-provided recipes.


Comprehensive Public Relations Campaign

  • Consumer Media:  Distribute media kit to marketing, health, nutrition and food writers across the country. 
  • Trade News Media:  Distribute press release to produce, supermarket and trade newspapers and magazines.
  • American Dietetic Association:Partner with ADA’s media spokespeople to introduce the PFK program and possible story ideas for potential news media placements.
